Retrospective Study on Ewing Sarcoma | |

Background:Ewing sarcoma (EwS) represents a rare, highly malignant cancer, with most patients harboring a priori micrometastases. Hence, this study was conducted to evaluate site and stages of ewing sarcoma. Materials & Methods:A total of 15 subjects were enrolled. The age of subject was between 10 to 16 years. The number of male subjects was 10 and remaining 5 were females. The results were recorded and analysed using SPSS software. Results:The ewing sarcoma is predominantly common in males. Ewing cancer predominantly localizes in the limbs, with only a limited number of cases occurring in the rib region. The lower limbs exhibit the highest frequency of tumor occurrence. Conclusion:Ewing sarcoma is more common in males and shows occurrence of highest frequency in lower limbs. |
